Gilead's HIV Age Positively initiative aims to support programs focused on improving the quality of life and health for those who are aging.
HIV Age Positively has awarded more than $17.6 million in grants to support 30 organizations — from healthcare organizations to advocacy groups working to address the interrelated challenges within the healthcare system and the general HIV community — addressing stigma, loneliness and better coordination of care.
THE Collaborative will launch an Intersectional Learning Collaborative to support Care & Wellbeing programs and policies for Gilead grantees in the West region, including those that help aging people living with and affected by HIV. THE Collaborative will convene these learning opportunities, using intersectionality as a lens for understanding disproportionate health impacts on marginalized communities, while promoting strategies to achieve health equity.
